Animation in Procreate and Adobe Aftereffects
This started as an isometric walk cycle practice in Aftereffects. Later, I realized that the character design has the potential to experiment with some plugins and workflows. Thus I added a small storyline and broke it down into few shots so that I can play around mixing Aftereffects and Procreate together.

Process -
The base animation was done in Aftereffects. The cages were made in Cinema 4D and traced in Adobe Illustrator to get the correct perspective. They are then rigged with “Joysticks ’n Sliders” along with the face to attain the Fake 3D look. Limbs were rigged with “Rubberhose”. Once the animation was completed, I painted it manually in Procreate using watercolor Maxpack.
